Join us here on Sunday Mornings for Worship. We have two services available at 9 am and 10:30 am. Children’s Sunday School is available during our 10:30 service. We do have a nursery on-site for Children up to 3 years of age.

If you can’t join us in person, you can watch our livestream on Facebook at Roberts Memorial Church at 10:30 am. During Lent you can check out the 40 Days of Prayer through a link that we are sharing on our Facebook Page from our church conference or you can go directly to their Facebook Page at Genesis Conference.

As always if you need to reach us you can use a connection card located under the resource tab here on our website or call the church at 716-257-3326.

Sunday Services

We will be suspending in-person worship service for Sunday, January 31st and Sunday, February 7th. If you have any questions feel free to contact the church office by phone at 716-257-3326, email at churchoffice@robertsfmc.org or by using a connection card under the resource tab.

Pastor Mike will be sharing a message on Facebook live on our church Facebook page “Roberts Memorial Church” both Sunday’s at 10:30 am.

Our plan is to resume in-person worship on February 14th.

SMALL GROUPS

Beginning the first week in November we have many opportunities for you to join a small group. If you are interested in joining a group contact the group leader, the church office or fill out an online connection card. ALL are welcome to join us!

#1 Wednesday Night Prayer Group @ 6:30 pm - Led by Lisa LaQuay. There will be devotions and time of prayer. This group meets at Roberts FMC

#2 Sunday Night Men’s Group @ 7 pm - Led by Neil Stern. This group is studying the book of Romans. This group meets at Roberts FMC

#3 Understanding Racism and Social Injustice - Led by Steve Patterson. This group offers two options to meet - Sundays @ 9 am or Wednesdays @ 7:15 pm This group meets at Roberts FMC

#4 It’s not Supposed to Be this Way - Mondays @ 7 pm - Led by Sandy Roeske, Learn how to handle life when it seems unfair, by leaning into and trusting God. This group meets at Roberts FMC

#5 Taste and See - Saturdays @ 9 am - Led by Wendy Seiflein. This group will be learning about how to feed your soul and body with the best God. The location is to TBD

#6 Senior Sunday School Class - Sundays @ 9:30 am This group is studying “The Miracle of Jesus”.

#7 Yield Ahead Sunday evenings @ 7 pm - Led by Pastor Mike Jones. This is a “zoom group”. We will be encouraged with a Scripture verse for the week and a time of prayer for one another as we prepare for the week ahead.

Social Distancing

We welcome you to join us onsite on Sunday Mornings! We ask that if you plan on attending that you follow a few guidelines for your safety and the safety of others.

  • Wear your mask. You may remove your mask once you are seated but must put your mask back on if you wish to sing.

  • Maintain social distancing

  • Avoid personal contact

  • We will be taking temperatures of our Sunday School Teachers and any children attending Sunday School.

  • Stay home if you are not feeling well or if you have a fever.

  • Hand sanitizing stations are available for your convenience.

  • Please sit in the open pews only - one family per pew. We have roped off some pews to help maintain social distancing.

Summer C.O.R.E. Group Information

If you are interested in attending one of the groups below please call the host for more information and/or to let them know you would like to join their C.O.R.E. Group this summer.

#1  Wednesday Prayer Group led by Lisa LaQuay

When:  Wednesdays starting June 24th

Where:  Lisa’s cabin at Cattaraugus Christian Campground

Time:  6:30pm for prayer group.  If you’d like to bring your  own picnic dinner, show up at 5:30pm.  A campfire will follow the prayer time if you’d like to stay, weather permitting.

#2  Reflections Group led by Aaron and Jen Luce

When:  Mondays starting July 20th-August 31st

Where:  112 Jefferson Street Cattaraugus

Time:  7:00pm

Info Devotions will focus on honoring God in our walk and witness and recognizing His power, presence and purpose.  Group will meet around campfire or inside the Luce’s home if bad weather.

#3  “Sing!” Group led by Gayle Patterson

When:  Thursday night at 6:30pm or Saturday morning @ 10am

· If interested in this group contact Gayle and let her know which day is better.  She will choose day based on interest and will offer another group in the fall on the opposite day.

· Also, people can choose to “zoom” in on this study online

Summary:  This group will look at the book “Sing!” by Keith and Kristyn Getty.  This study will look at how worship transforms your life, family and church. 

#4  Three Simple Rules Group led by Pastor Mike

When:  Saturdays:  July 11, 25 and August 8 and 22  (flexible dates)

Where Pastor Mike and Paula’s on 8 Ellicott St, Cattaraugus

Time:  6:30 pm

Info:  This group will look at the book “Three Simple Rules” (book provided) and how we can apply to our lives.  We will meet around campfire weather permitting or inside if raining.

Info: Discussion group to better understand peoples concerns regarding health and nutrition. This is a precursor to a small group we are hoping to begin in the Fall titled “Taste and See” by Margaret Feinberg.

Drive-In Church

Join us this Sunday as we celebrate Easter from the safety of our cars! We will be having our Sunday morning Worship Service in the parking lot of the church beginning at 10:30 am. We will be transmitting our service on FM radio as well as Facebook live. We look forward to seeing your smiling faces but we ask that you do NOT leave your cars. We must be diligent in practicing social distancing and doing our best not to spread the Covid19.
